Stephen Evans

Stephen is an experienced Chartered Transport Planning Consultant who provides practical insights and expert advice to clients and professional partners on a range of transport planning, development planning and highway infrastructure design issues. He prepares Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans to support planning applications. Stephen has a proven track record in effectively supporting the securing of Local Plan site allocations and planning consents. His experience includes close collaboration with clients, planners, architects and masterplanners to develop exciting, sustainable and deliverable high-quality schemes across the UK, covering land uses including residential, commercial, retail, leisure, healthcare and education. His advice is underpinned by a strong understanding of current and emerging transport trends, policy and ‘best practice’. Active in consultation and engagement, Stephen confidently presents to clients, professional partners, local authorities, stakeholders, residents and communities. He is also experienced in successfully supporting and giving evidence at planning appeals, including public inquiries.

Mark Gimingham

Mark is Managing Partner and one of the founders of iTransport, with over 25 years’ experience in transport planning.

He advises on major development projects across the UK, specialising in strategic residential and commercial schemes. Mark is known for developing clear transport strategies for complex sites and leading negotiations with local authorities and National Highways.

With a long track record of successful projects, he provides strategic leadership to both clients and the business, helping shape developments that are deliverable, sustainable and commercially successful.

Melanie Dobson

Melanie Dobson is an Associate based in the London office, with over 13 years’ experience in transport planning. She began her career at i‑Transport as a Graduate Transport Planner and has progressed through the business to her current role, building a broad and well‑rounded portfolio along the way. Melanie has worked on a wide range of projects, from small‑scale residential developments to major new settlements, as well as school expansions and health facilities. Her experience spans projects across the UK, with a particular focus on London and the South East. Known for her collaborative approach, Melanie works closely with project teams and stakeholders to deliver practical, well‑considered solutions to complex transport challenges.
