Muhammad has a background in Structural Engineering and studied at Bury College. He has nearly a year of highway design and transport planning experience and primarily supports the preparation of technical work across a wide range of projects. His experience includes contributing to highway design, site layout reviews, site access drawings, geometry drawings, swept path analysis and has contributed to traffic assessment work and sustainability appraisals.

He has appeared as an expert witness to Planning Inquiries on transport planning issues, appeared at Local Plan Examination in Public and has also undertaken appeal by written representation. He has prepared Transport Assessments and transport chapters for Environmental Impact Assessments for a wide variety of projects from large residential developments, motorway service areas, energy infrastructure, government buildings and mixed-use sites.
