Steve Jenkins

Partner

Steve is a Partner with over 25 years’ experience across both the public and private sectors. Based in the Solent office, he works across a wide portfolio of projects, from individual sites to nationally significant infrastructure schemes.

He provides expert advice on transport, highways and access, helping clients solve complex challenges and progress developments at all scales. Steve is known for his practical, solutions-focused approach, combining technical expertise with a clear understanding of planning requirements.

Working across the UK, he supports major residential schemes and infrastructure projects, delivering clear, strategic guidance that drives successful outcomes.

Dan Godwin

Consultant

About

Dan is a Consultant and joined iTransport as a Graduate in 2024. He has contributed and worked on a variety of projects ranging from strategic residential, large scale mixed-use and employment sites across the south, partially in Hampshire and West Sussex.

Dan has provided initial advice and appraisals through to the submission and post-submission of projects on behalf of clients. He has experience in providing a variety of reports for different target audiences, traffic modelling, GIS and acting as a Travel Plan Co-ordinator for residential and employment developments in the south.

James Bevis is a highly experienced transport planner with over 30 years in the field, including more than 20 years at i Transport where he has been a Partner since 2012. He provides strategic advice to a portfolio of key clients, many of whom he has supported for more than two decades. James is recognised for delivering complex and challenging schemes across a broad range of development types and scales. A skilled problem solver and experienced expert witness, he is valued for his clear communication and trusted client relationships

Mark Stead

Associate Partner

Mark is an Associate Partner with over 20 years’ experience in transport consultancy, specialising in supporting planning applications across a range of sectors, particularly residential and care developments.

He advises clients from early-stage due diligence through to planning submission, helping shape transport strategies and evidence bases that reflect the scale and complexity of each scheme. His work spans projects from single dwellings to strategic sites of over 500 homes.

Mark is known for his detailed understanding of local transport networks and his ability to develop practical solutions that overcome site constraints. He provides clear, considered advice that helps clients move forward with confidence.

Sian Geddes

Consultant

About

Sian is a Consultant with 3 years’ experience in the transport planning industry and joined iTransport as a Graduate in 2023. She is based in the Solent office and works extensively on projects across the south of England. Her work focuses on developing and delivering sustainable transport solutions, having contributed to a wide range of projects including small-scale residential developments, large residential developments and employment / mixed-use sites.

Sian supports clients by delivering highways and transport advice at every stage of the project lifecycle, including initial feasibility and access appraisals through to post-submission. She has experience in preparing various transport reports, undertaking traffic modelling, and serves as the Travel Plan Co-ordinator across several schemes.

Ollie Thompson

Associate

Ollie is an Associate with 10 years’ experience in transport and development planning, advising clients on how to unlock land for development. Based in the Solent office, he works across residential, retail, commercial and leisure projects.

He provides transport advice across all stages of the planning process, from early feasibility through to application and condition discharge. Ollie combines strong technical expertise — including modelling and analysis — with a clear understanding of local authority requirements.

With a strong focus on Hampshire and West Sussex, he brings valuable local insight and a practical approach to delivering solutions that move projects forward.
