Steve Eggleston is a highly experienced transport planning professional and Partner at i‑Transport LLP, based in Manchester and Leeds. He holds BSc (Hons) and BEng (Hons) degrees in Civil Engineering and is a member of both the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
With over 30 years’ experience, Steve has led the transport planning and technical delivery of major residential, commercial and infrastructure projects across the UK. He regularly acts for clients on a range of major development proposals, overseeing technical strategy, stakeholder engagement and planning submissions, and has extensive experience as an expert witness at planning inquiries and Examinations in Public. His portfolio includes large‑scale mixed‑use developments, strategic housing sites, motorway service areas and major employment schemes for leading national developers, housebuilders and landowners. Steve is recognised for his pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach and his ability to guide complex schemes through the planning process.

Mike is an Associate Transport Planner with over 11 years’ experience in development planning. Since joining as a graduate, he has played a key role in projects across residential, logistics and retail sectors.
He works across all stages of the planning process, from modelling and analysis through to project management and client representation. Mike is known for his clear communication and strong client relationships, providing practical advice that supports successful outcomes.

Greg is a Partner in the Leeds office with over 24 years’ experience in transport development planning. He specialises in impact assessments, accessibility and infrastructure feasibility, supporting major regeneration and strategic development projects.
He works closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver clear, well-evidenced transport strategies across residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes. Greg has extensive experience negotiating with local authorities and National Highways, helping to secure planning approvals for complex sites.
