Ben has led work across residential, commercial, leisure, health and energy sectors, preparing clear, robust transport strategies that stand up to scrutiny. His expertise spans transport assessments, travel plans, servicing strategies and highway design, alongside advising on masterplanning, access and mitigation.

Known for his practical approach, Ben helps clients navigate complex planning requirements with confidence — identifying solutions that work for both development and the wider network.

Ian Dimbylow

Ian is a Director based in our London office and a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 25 years of experience in transport planning and development infrastructure.

He advises clients on transport and infrastructure matters throughout the development lifecycle, from early site promotion and planning strategy through to design, delivery and completion. Ian has extensive experience supporting major planning applications and providing strategic transport advice for complex development projects across a range of sectors.

His expertise includes the preparation of Transport Assessments and transport chapters for Environmental Impact Assessments for residential, commercial, mixed-use, energy infrastructure and roadside developments. Ian is also an experienced expert witness having attended Planning Inquiries, represented clients at Local Plan Examinations in Public, and supported planning appeals through written representations.

Combining technical excellence with practical commercial insight, Ian helps clients successfully navigate the planning process and deliver sustainable development outcomes.

Phil is a seasoned transport planning specialist with more than 30 years’ experience helping complex development projects move from concept to consent across the UK. He advises on the movement, access and traffic implications of major commercial, residential, healthcare and leisure schemes, alongside large-scale mixed-use regeneration, wind energy, and recycling and waste developments.
Known for his practical, solutions-focused approach, Phil supports clients at every stage of the process — from early feasibility and transport strategy through to detailed design and delivery. He has a strong track record of working with local highway authorities, Transport for London and National Highways to resolve challenging access and transport issues and secure planning approvals.

Phil also brings significant Public Inquiry and DCO experience, regularly preparing and presenting expert witness evidence for major development proposals. Blending strategic insight with hands-on delivery expertise, he helps clients navigate complex planning and transport challenges and unlock sustainable, deliverable schemes
