Ian is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 25 years’ experience in both the planning and design of development infrastructure. He has experience supporting major planning applications as well as strategic advice on transport matters for sites early in the planning process. He has appeared as an expert witness to Planning Inquiries on transport planning issues, appeared at Local Plan Examination in Public and has also undertaken appeal by written representation. He has prepared Transport Assessments and transport chapters for Environmental Impact Assessments for a wide variety of projects from large residential developments, motorway service areas, energy infrastructure, government buildings and mixed-use sites. Ian undertook a number of guest lectures at University of East London on Highway Design. He has detailed experience of transport and development infrastructure from conception to completion.

Muhammad has a background in Structural Engineering and studied at Bury College. He has nearly a year of highway design and transport planning experience and primarily supports the preparation of technical work across a wide range of projects. Isabelle is a Graduate Transport Planner based in the London office, supporting projects across a range of sectors including residential, commercial and mixed-use development.

Simon is a Senior Consultant in the Basingstoke office, joining iTransport in 2022 as a graduate. Simon has worked for the last four years on a wide range of projects, including small-scale residential schemes to major data centre applications.
Simon’s core expertise is in the preparation of Transport Statements / Transport Assessments, alongside undertaking junction capacity assessments to inform development feasibility and mitigation strategies. Simon also works closely with clients, local highway authorities and projects to provide specialist advice through the planning process.

Her experience spans projects across the UK, with a particular focus on London and the South East. Since graduating from university in 2021, Matt has developed experience across the transport sector including residential, retail, healthcare and employment projects. He has built strong technical skills in data analysis and junction modelling using Junctions 11 and LinSig, producing models ranging from simple priority T-junctions to complex motorway junctions.
Matt’s role involves the preparation of key technical documentation, such as Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Environmental Statements and Technical Notes for both local authorities and the general public. He is capable of managing input to large, multi-disciplinary projects, working closely with stakeholders, clients, and project teams. This has strengthened his overall communication and project management skills, contributing positively to successful planning approvals and the delivery of sustainable development outcomes.

Sian is a Consultant with 3 years’ experience in the transport planning industry and joined iTransport as a Graduate in 2023. She is based in the Solent office and works extensively on projects across the south of England. Sian supports clients by delivering highways and transport advice at every stage of the project lifecycle, including initial feasibility and access appraisals through to post-submission. She has experience in preparing various transport reports, undertaking traffic modelling, and serves as the Travel Plan Co-ordinator across several schemes.

Will is a Senior Consultant with over seven years’ experience in transport planning, specialising in development across Greater London and the wider UK.
